With the Indiana High School Athletic Association baseball sectional right around the corner. The North Posey Viking baseball team has played well lately. Last Tuesday night, the Vikings traveled to Vincennes to play the Vincennes Rivet Patriots.
One of the Vikings goals in this game was to win their third straight contest. This was not a pretty game but doable enough to escape with a victory. North Posey put up two runs on the scoreboard at the top of the first inning and one more score in the top of the sixth to beat Vincennes Rivet 3-1. At the top of the sixth inning, Grant Cullman hit a double on a fly ball to center field. Zeke Roosevelt was next to bat. Cullman advanced to third base on a wild pitch.
