On Monday afternoon, the Lady Vikings took on county rival and then undefeated Mount Vernon Wildcats in a home matchup. Lack of experience has Lady Viking tennis off to slow start
By Chris Morlan The North Posey girls’ tennis team played three opponents this week. On Tuesday afternoon, the Lady Vikings were at home against Southridge losing 3-2. North Posey played against Pike Central on Wednesday afternoon winning their first contest of the season 4-1. In their third match in three days, North Posey played against Evansville Reitz losing to the Panthers 4-1. For the season, North Posey’s record is one win and three losses. Vikings on two-game win streak beat Alices, Chargers
By Chris Morlan This was by far the toughest part of the schedule for the North Posey baseball team. Last Monday, the Vikings faced Class 4A, fourth ranked Evansville North Huskies and lost 11-0. On Tuesday, North Posey played undefeated Heritage Hills, which was ranked eleventh in Class 3A, losing 18-1. North Posey bounced back on Wednesday afternoon defeating Vincennes Lincoln 6-2 to snap a two-game losing streak. The Vikings closed out the week last Thursday night on the r
