Lady Vikings swim team finishes fifth at Pioneer Invite
By Chris Morlan The North Posey girls’ swim team was back in action on Saturday, January 3 at the Pioneer Sprint Invitational. There were seven different schools competing at this event. This was the Lady Vikings first swim meet of the 2026 calendar year. Evansville Reitz won the team score with 275 points. Vikings get much needed win over Washington 57-48
By Chris Morlan First game since Christmas break for the North Posey boys’ basketball team was on Saturday, January 3 in a home matchup with the Washington Hatchets. Prior to this contest, North Posey lost their previous game, while Washington had lost four straight games. The Vikings led the entire game except one time at 10-8 in the first quarter. Lady Vikings get pair of badly-needed wins this week
North Posey Viking Chloe Kirchoff gets her tongue just right while preparing to put up this shot during Viking basketball action this week at Tecumseh. Kirchoff has split time this season between the varsity and reserve teams as the Vikings are led by seven seniors.
