Cross country season ends for Posey athletes at regional
Saturday wrapped up the Wildcats season as Mount Vernon freshman Madison Cooper competed at Angel Mounds. Regionals is the final race that will be hosted at the site and the runners sent it off in style posting some course record times. Cooper capped off her freshmen campaign with a new personal record of 22:26. In the field of 247 runners Madison finished 146th. Vikings defeat outmanned Chargers in sectional opener

This was the Vikings’ first sectional game at home in the opening round since the 2022 season when North Posey defeated Forest Park.
