Janet L. Phillips

Janet Lee Phillips, 69, of Mt. Vernon, Ind., formerly of New Harmony, Ind., born August 31, 1956 to Donald Keith “D.K.” and Nellie May (Bryant) Phillips, passed away, Sunday, August 23, 2026 at her residence in Mt. Vernon, Ind.

She was a 1974 graduate of New Harmony High School and longtime resident of New Harmony, Ind.

Preceding her in death were her parents.

Surviving are her sister: Patricia J. Blackwell of Brentwood, Tenn.; brothers: Kenneth Scott Phillips of Naples, Fla., and Gregory D. Phillips of Evansville, Ind.

Graveside funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Tuesday, September, 1, 2026 at Stillwell Cemetery near New Harmony, Ind.
