Glen Whitehead

Glen (Grizzly) Whitehead, 61, of New Harmony, Ind., born May 27, 1961, to Eric and Mildred Vandgrift Whitehead, passed away, Thursday, June 25, 2026, at his home south of New Harmony, Ind.

Glen was a truck driver who drove for Naas & Sons Trucking of Haubstadt, Ind. He enjoyed spending time with his family and his dogs, Baxter and Maverick and riding motorcycles.

He is survived by his mother: Mildred Whitehead; wife: Debra; his two step daughters: Julie Fitzgerald and Candi Wold; his brother: Ed Whitehead (Mary); a niece: Jessica Ledbetter and nephew Justin Whitehead.

Preceding him in death were his father: Eric G. Whitehead.

A Celebration of Life will be held, 1-5 p.m., July 25, 2026, at Nobles Chapel Church, 5478 Nobles Chapel Road, Elberfeld, IN 47613.

Memorial contributions may be made to Debra Whitehead, 2840 SR 69 N., New Harmony, IN 47631 to help defray funeral expenses.
