Chasity Harnishfeger

Chasity Caroline (Brandenstein) Harnishfeger, 43, of Poseyville, Ind., born December 9, 1982, to Russell Keith and Tamara Lou (Bridges) Brandenstein in Evansville, Ind., passed away, Sunday, October 25, 2026 at her home in Poseyville, Ind.

She graduated from North Posey High School in 2001 and worked at Help at Home agency as a caregiver for 20 years. She enjoyed playing the game Bump, going to music concerts with her daughter, car derbies with her son and supporting her children’s extra-curricular activities.

Surviving are her children: Destiny Palmer (Alex), Kevin Harnishfeger and Bryce Paul Tron; father: Russell Brandenstein (Jackie); grandfather: Kenneth “Bud” Bridges; grandmother: Marty Cothran; siblings: Lucas, Shawna and Shiloh Brandenstein; step-siblings: Billie Robling, Samantha Robling and Damion Ling along with several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Preceding her in death were her mother; grandparents: Harold & Jean Brandenstein; grandfather: John Cothran; brother: Cody Jo Puckett.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Friday, November 6, 2026 at the Werry Funeral Home in Poseyville, Ind., with burial to follow in the Poseyville Cemetery in Poseyville, Ind.

Visitation will be 11 a.m., until service time, Friday, November 6, 2026 at the funeral home.
