Patricia Ann Blosser

Patricia Ann (Welch) Blosser, age 85, of Chattanooga, Tenn., passed away May 2, 2026 at Premier Healthcare of New Harmony. She was born February 15, 1941 in Seaford, Del., to the late Joseph and Ada (Dalton) Welch.

Patricia was a beautician for several years and later worked as a caregiver for the elderly. She enjoyed boating, fishing, camping, and spending time outdoors. Patricia was devoted to her faith, attending church regularly and finding comfort in reading and studying the Bible. She had a sweet tooth and loved her coffee. Patricia found great joy in caring for and spending time with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, father of her children, J. Lewis Prater; second husband, Jim Hannah, and her most recent husband, Jack Blosser.

Patricia is survived by her son, Jeff (Mitzi) Prater; daughters, Kimberly (David) Ries and Cindy (Don) Morris; grandchildren, Miranda (Aaron) Blocker, Laurel (Michael) Kimbrell, Andrew (Kierstyn) Ries, Jacob (Caitlin) Ries, Jeremy Morris and Brandon (Sarah) Morris; great-grandchildren, Linken, Brecklyn, and Kolsen Ries, Jackson and Wyatt Ries, Madelyn and Bennett Blocker, Gabriel and Linda Kimbrell, and Caleb, Trevor and Travis Morris; brothers, Richard (JoAnn) Welch, and Roger (Nancy) Welch; sister, Debbie Carpenter; and niece and nephews.

A graveside service will take place at a later date in Hamilton Memorial Gardens in Tennessee.
