Lady Wildcat track outruns Castle, 89-64

The Mount Vernon Lady Wildcat track team scored an impressive win on Thursday, outdistancing the Castle Knights 89-64 and holding Bosse scoreless in an 89-0 win.

In the Thursday, April 9 win, first place winners included: Maggie Aldrich - 100 Dash, 200 Dash Madison Cooper - 1600-meter run Jaycee Campbell - 3200-meter run Attalia Wolf - Discus Stella Hall - 100-meter Hurdles, 300 m Hurdles and Jaylan York in the long jump’

All three relay teams were blue ribbon winners. The teams consisted of: 4 x 800 - Madison Cooper, Maddie Abel, Victoria Poling, and Jaycee Campbell, 4 x 100 - Mariah Buchanan, Jaylan York, Stella Hall, and Maggie Aldrich, and 4 x 400 - Maggie Aldrich, Madison Cooper, Makayla Schneider, and Stella Hall.
