Kathy Lou Hess

Kathy Lou Hess, 74, of Poseyville, Ind., born May 8, 1952, to Malcolm Eugene East, Sr. and Betty Lou (Robinson) East in Evansville, Ind., passed away, Tuesday, September 8, 2026 at Deaconess Hospital Midtown in Evansville, Ind.

She attended South Gibson Apostolic Church and worked at Hoehn Plastics, Broerman Chevrolet and Harolds Restaurant. She enjoyed puzzles, bunco and family.

Surviving are her son: Matthew Hess; sister: Sharon Roach and nieces and nephews: Tina Stoneberger (Jim), Greg East (Cathi), Madison Roach and Chelsey Lynn East.

Preceding her in death were her parents; brother: Malcolm Eugene East, Jr. and a sister: Rebecca Ann East.

Funeral services were held 2 p.m., Friday, September 11, 2026 at the Werry Funeral Home in Poseyville, Ind., with burial following in Poseyville Cemetery in Poseyville, Ind.

Visitation was 10 a.m. until service time, Friday, September 11, 2026 at the funeral home.
