Tommy Lee Winegar

Tommy Lee Winegar, of Mt. Vernon, passed away on September 13, 2026, at the age of 68. Born in Crawfordsville, Ind., to Kenny and Mary (Adams) Winegar. He had great love for his family, friends, NASCAR, hunting, and riding his beloved Harley Davidson.
Over the years, he built a life centered on service, hard work, and deep love for his family. He was known for his humor, generosity, and steady presence; he found joy in spending time with his family and friends. He had retired from GE/SABIC after 39 years of service.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Linda Sue, and brothers Roger, Donnie, and Ronnie.
He leaves behind his wife of 44 years, Dolly (Goff) Winegar; sons, Casey Winegar and
Matthew Winegar; grandchildren, Kinsley, Gabbi, Kylee, Gracie, Lincoln, and Maycie. Also, goddaughter, Hannah Nurrenbern Mangold. He is also survived by a brother, Larry Joe (Diane) Winegar, living in Whitwell, Tennessee, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Tom is also survived by a wide circle of friends. He enjoyed spending time with his fur babies, Murphy and Marcie. His legacy of kindness and devotion will continue through all who loved him.
A Memorial Service will be held to celebrate his life later.
