Frances Sue Terrell, 91, of Mt. Vernon, Ind., passed away at Premier Healthcare of New Harmony.

Sue was born on December 15, 1934, in Savah, Ind., the daughter of Arthur and Nellie (James) Terrell. She graduated from Mt. Vernon High School and began a long working career, first at General Electric and later working as a bookkeeper.

For anyone who knew Sue, it was clear that her faith was the most important part of her life. Throughout her life, she was actively involved in her church and made it her mission to bring as many people to the Lord as possible. Countless people remember Sue coming to pick them up and making sure they had a way to get to church. Her dedication to sharing her faith and helping others grow in their relationship with the Lord touched many lives and left a lasting impression on her community.

Sue was a longtime member of Pilgrim Holiness Church in Mt. Vernon before its closure. She later began attending Mt. Zion General Baptist Church, where she continued to practice and share the faith that had guided her throughout her life.

In her spare time, Sue enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and collecting bells. These hobbies brought her joy, but it was her faith, her willingness to help others, and her desire to see others come to know the Lord that truly defined her life.

Sue is survived by a host of nieces and nephews, along with countless dear friends whom she considered family. Her life was a testament to the importance of faith, kindness, and reaching out to others, and she will be remembered fondly by all who knew and loved her.
