Delores Olivia Marvel

Dolores Olivia Marvel, 91, of Evansville, Ind., formerly of Poseyville, Ind., born November 21, 1934, to Robert Bryan and Margaret Ellen (Wallace) Rice in Cynthiana, Indiana, passed away, Monday, September 21, 2026 at The Wyndmoor of Evansville Assisted Living Center in Evansville, Indiana.

She drove a school bus for the Metropolitan School District of North Posey for 45 years. She attended the Presbyterian Church and Fair Haven Christ Fellowship Church. She was a farmer’s wife and attended many ballgames.

Surviving are her sons: Keith Marvel (Mary) and Michael Marvel (Cynthia); daughter: Brenda Cornaire (Jim) along with several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband: Doyle Ray Marvel; son: Ronald Ray Marvel; brothers: Donald and Harold Rice.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Friday, September 25, 2026 at the Werry Funeral Home in Poseyville, Indiana with burial to follow in Antioch Cemetery near Cynthiana, Indiana.

Visitation will be 4-7 p.m., Thursday, September 24, 2026 at the funeral home.
