Billy “Bill” C. Pardon, 82, of Evansville, Ind., passed away on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at Envive Healthcare of Evansville.
Bill was born in Henderson, Ky., on December 2, 1943, to the late Earl B. and Bessie Mae (Frey) Pardon. Bill worked for Alvey- Scott Motors, Kenworth, and Asher Truck and Trailor, where he served as parts manager. He later retired from FedEx, where he worked for many years as a delivery truck driver.
After retirement, when his wife, Jeannie, returned to work, Bill lovingly took care of the home. He made sure the house was always clean, prepared meals, and enjoyed working on vehicles. Bill loved being around his dogs, but his greatest joy came from spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom he cherished deeply.
Billy is survived by his wife of 62 years, Jeannie (Martin) Pardon of Evansville, Ind.; sons, Brian “Scott” Pardon (Cathie) of Fla., Troy Pardon (Dee) of Poseyville, Ind., and Kevin Pardon (Anna) of Poseyville, Ind.; grandchildren, Morgan Benzen (Michael), Ian Pardon (Yasmine), Julianna Pardon and Abigail Pardon; great grandchildren, Henry Pardon and Theo Benzen.
Billy was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Earl W. Pardon.
