It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Susan Gayle (Richter) Yeida. Sue left to be with her Lord and Savior on March 27, 2026, while at New Harmony Nursing and Rehab. Center, New Harmony, Ind., her husband Randy was by her side. Sue as most knew her, was proceeded in death by her parents, Florence Mary Dupell and Charles Edward Richter Jr. of Gainsville, Texas. She was also proceeded in death by her brother, Charles (Gwen) Richter.
Sue was born April 5, 1957, in Gainsville, Texas. Sue was co-owner and managed Koodie Hoos Bar and Grill for 17 years. Sue was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and a member of the Mount Vernon Business and Professional Women’s Organization. Sue loved horse riding and side by side riding. She loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 37 years Randy; her children, Cody Price, Jacob Price (Teresa), Stacie Ricketts, Stepchildren Shane Yeida (Nancy) and Erin Wolfe; grandchildren Carson and Riley Price, Solana, Jacob Jr., Luna Price, Lexus (Matt) Singleton, Aaliyah, Grace and Joseph Ricketts; step-grandchildren Tucker Yeida and Tessa Hale, Jayclyn, Tyler, and Orion Wolfe; great-grandchildren Warren Wolfe and Pasley Singleton; and sisters Donna (George) Keller, Linda (David) Grubbs and Jeanne Dyar (John Jacobs).
Service was held Tuesday, March 31 at 1 p.m., at Denning Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Bryan Thompson officiating. Burial followed in Bellefontaine Cemetery. Friends called from 10 a.m., until service time.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or the American Legion Auxiliary.
