Randy Lee Terrell


Randy Lee Terrell, 65, of New Harmony, passed away peacefully on April 23, 2026. Born on August 8, 1960, in Evansville, Randy lived a life defined by faith, hard work, and an unwavering dedication to his family and community.

Randy was the beloved husband of Teresa Terrell and a devoted father to Justin Terrell and Miranda Kewon. He cherished his role as a grandfather to Axle Brown-Terrell, Arik Brown-Terrell, Maliyah Kewon, and Dominic Kewon. He is also survived by his son-in-law, Jerry Kewon; his sisters Robin Brown, Cathy Groves, Mary Dotson, and Kim Glover; dear friend Denise Rapp; and good friends Rob Weyerbacher and Sandy Brown. Randy was preceded in death by his parents, Hershel and Carolyn Terrell.

A man of deep faith, Randy held his relationship with Jesus close to his heart throughout his life. His faith guided his actions and shaped the way he treated others with kindness, compassion, and a servant’s heart. He found strength and purpose in his beliefs and shared that love with everyone around him.

Randy had a passion for fixing things and took pride in hard work. Whether he was working on cars or repairing something for someone in need, he found joy in staying busy and lending a

helping hand. Fishing was another pastime he enjoyed spending time outdoors brought him peace and happiness. Above all else, Randy’s selflessness shone through in everything he did; he always put others before himself and made sure those around him were cared for.

The family would also like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the hospice caregivers who compassionately cared for Randy during his final days. Their kindness, support, and dedication brought comfort and peace to Randy and his loved ones during a difficult time.

Those who knew Randy will remember him as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. His generous heart and unwavering kindness left a lasting mark on everyone fortunate enough to know him. Teresa shared, “Randy was the love of my life and I will miss him deeply.”

Private family arrangements have been made to honor Randy’s memory. May his legacy of love and service continue to inspire all who knew him.
