David Lynn Armstrong

David Lynn Armstrong, 65, of Owensville, Ind., born September 25, 1960 to Joe Lynn and Betty Maxine (Huck) Armstrong in Scottsburg, Ind., went to heaven to join his family, Tuesday, February 24, 2026.

David enjoyed traveling, fishing and sports especially University of Illinois basketball.

Surviving are his mother: Betty Maxine Armstrong; children: Peyton Armstrong, Amanda Andersen, Kelly Armstrong and Maggie D’Urso; brothers: Michael Armstrong (Maricel) of Port Charlotte, Fla., Thomas Armstrong (Connie) of New Harmony, Ind.; a sister: Debra Armstrong of Evansville, Ind.

Preceding him in death is his father, Joe Armstrong.

Funeral services were held 2 p.m., Saturday, February 28, 2026 at Werry Funeral Home in New Harmony, Ind.

Visitation was held 12 p.m. (noon) until 2 p.m., Saturday February 28, 2026 at the funeral home.
