NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING AND INTENTION TO CONSIDER

THE POSEY COUNTY AREA PLAN COMMISSION’S OCTOBER 1, 2026

RECOMMENDATION TO AMEND AND REPEAL CERTAIN SECTIONS

OF THE POSEY COUNTY UNIFIED DEVELOPMENT ORDINANCE

Pursuant to I.C. 36-7-4-606(c), notice is hereby given by the Board of Commissioners of Posey County that it will hold a public hearing during its regularly scheduled meeting on November 4, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. for the purpose of considering the Posey County Area Plan Commission’s October 1, 2026 recommendation to amend and repeal certain sections of the Posey County Unified Development Ordinance pertaining to the unincorporated area of Posey County.

Written objections to the proposed Amended County Unified Development Ordinance may be filed with the Posey County Auditor’s Office prior to the November 4, 2026 public hearing.
