NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

TOWN OF POSEYVILLE, INDIANA

PROPOSED WATER AND NATURAL GAS DISTRIBUTION RATE ADJUSTMENTS

Notice is hereby given that the Town Council of the Town of Poseyville, Indiana, will conduct a public hearing concerning proposed adjustments to the Town’s water and natural gas distribution utility rates.

The proposed adjustments are as follows:

Water Utility

• A 1% increase to water usage rates. Rates based on a 2,000 gallon per month minimum.

3/4-inch meter $41.53 $41.95

1 inch meter $56.67 $57.24

1 ½- inch meter $86.95 $87.82

2-inch meter $314.03 $317.17

3-inch meter $707.64 $714.72

4-inch meter $1,252.63 $1,265.16

*Rate after 2,000 gallon $15.29/1,000 gallons.

Natural Gas Utility

• A 1% increase to natural gas distribution rates per therm.

Service Current Proposed

Residential Service: $.60/therm $0.61/therm;

Small Commercial Service: $.58/therm $0.59/therm;

Large Commercial and Industrial Service: $.55/therm $0.56/therm.

The proposed ordinance(s) and rate schedules are available for public inspection at the Poseyville Town Hall during regular business hours.

All interested persons, including utility customers and other affected parties, are invited to attend and be heard concerning the proposed rate adjustments.

Following the public hearing, the Town Council may consider final adoption of the proposed ordinance(s), with or without amendments, in accordance with applicable Indiana law.
