NOTICE TO BIDDERS

The Posey County Board of Commissioners will receive sealed bids for the following surplus equipment:

Holsclaw Boat Trailer Model C-900

1975 20’ Polarkraft Aluminum John Boat Model # CGF2051-20T

2016 Mercury 30HP Motor with Stainless Steel Prop Model # 1A3G312EK

Equipment does not have a title and will be sold as is.

This piece of equipment may be viewed at the Posey County Emergency Management at 311 Mill Street, Mt. Vernon, Indiana 47620, on Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 am to 3:00 pm. Sealed bids will be received at the Auditor’s Office at 126 East Third Street, Mt. Vernon, Indiana 47620 up to 4:00 pm local time on August 31, 2026 or up to 9:00 am local time on September 1, 2026 at the Hovey House, 330 Walnut Street, Mt. Vernon Indiana 47620. Any bids received after the designated time will be returned unopened. The Posey County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any informalities in the bids.
