Legal Notice

The Board of Trustees of the Alexandrian Public Library is accepting bids for the cash rent of farm ground consisting of approximately forty (40) acres (approximately 38.8 acres being tillable), located at the West half of the Southwest quarter of the Southwest quarter of Section twenty-one (21) in Township six (6) South, Range thirteen (13) West in Posey County, State of Indiana.

The lease will be awarded to the responsive and responsible bidder who offers the highest lease payments. The lease will run from January 1, 2027 through December 31, 2029. Bids should specify the amount of cash rent to be paid semi-annually in equal installments during each year of the lease term.

The bids must be submitted to the Alexandrian Public Library, 115 W. Fifth Street, Mount Vernon, IN 47620, to the attention of Marissa Priddis, Director, from a date commencing on August 10, 2026 up to the close of business on September 8, 2026.

Bids will be opened at the regularly scheduled board meeting on September 15, 2026 at 4:30p.m. Please indicate on your correspondence “FARM BID ENCLOSED.”
