Notice is hereby given by the Board of Zoning Appeals of a public hearing to be held at 5:00p.m. upon the following Variance on Thursday, August 13, 2026, at The Hovey House, 330 Walnut Street, Mt. Vernon, Indiana. The Board of Zoning Appeals will at that time hear objections thereto:

NATURE OF Applicant requests a variance from the sign development standards for CASE: relaxation of maximum size of sign face from 50sqft to 64sqft for proposed double-sided 8’x 4’ Electronic Variable Message Sign (EVMS) and 8’x4’ ground sign in a C-2 General Commercial Zoning District per Chapter 3 (B)(6)(l) of the Posey County Unified Development Ordinance.
