I-64 BLACK RIVER REST STOP – GRINDER PUMP CONNECTIONS
General Notice
Posey County Regional Sewer District (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project:
I-64 Black River Rest Stop – Grinder Pump Connections

Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the Posey County Regional Sewer District Board Meeting located at 330 Walnut Street, Mount Vernon, IN 47620, until Thursday June 25th, at 8:00 AM local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.
The Project includes the following Work:
Installation of several grinder connections to an existing force main in Posey County. These connections will include the grinder pump station, the service line installed by open cut and/or horizontal directional drill under impervious surfaces, a valve pit, and electrical hookups.
Bids are requested for a single prime Contract.
Obtaining the Bidding Documents
Information and Bidding Documents for the Project can be found at the following designated website:
Bidding Documents may be downloaded from the designated website. The designated website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website. Following registration, complete sets of Bidding Documents may be downloaded from the Issuing Office’s website as “zipped” portable document format (PDF) files. The cost of printed Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office will depend on the number and size of the Drawings and Project Manual, applicable taxes, and shipping method selected by the prospective Bidder. Cost of Bidding Documents and shipping is non-refundable. Upon Issuing Office’s receipt of payment, printed Bidding Documents will be sent via the prospective Bidder’s delivery method of choice; the shipping charge will depend on the shipping method chosen. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidder’s date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of the Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office.

Prospective Bidders may also examine the Bidding Documents at Eastern Engineering Supply, 9901 Allisonville Road, Fishers, IN 46038; the Issuing Office on Monday through Thursday between the hours of 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM and Fridays between 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM.; Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website.
Instructions to Bidders
For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. Bid security, in a sum of not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the highest aggregate bid, shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids in whole or in part as specified in the solicitation when it is not in the best interest of the governmental body as determined by the purchasing agency in accordance with IC 5-22-18-2. The Owner also reserves the right to waive irregularities in any Bid, and to accept any Bid, which is deemed most favorable to the Owner.
