Robert M. Miller

Robert M. Miller, 83, of Evansville, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, October 23, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

Bob was born on September 8, 1942, in Evansville to the late Ed and Mary (Schuler) Miller. He worked his whole life on his family farm; he was a lifelong west sider and a member of Saint Boniface Catholic Church. Bob enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, hunting and raising fish. Just two years ago, Bob built a cabin on his property where his family could all gather and be together.

Surviving Bob are his wife of 62 years, Pat (Grannan) Miller; daughters, Maria Miller, Cindy (Dennis) Futrell and Angie (Joe) Mayer; a son, Steve (Stefani) Miller; sister, Patty O’Risky; grandchildren, Natalie (Jon) Wright, Nick (Ashley) Gaffney, Mary Ann (Cody) Brandenstein, Mark (Jessica) Miller, Brad (Emma) Miller, Cody (Veronica) Tedford, Caleb (Danielle) Tedford, Sarah Tedford, Abbey Tedford, Noah Mayer, and Anna Mayer; seventeen great grandchildren, many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

A mass of Christian Burial was held at 11 a.m. on Monday, October 27, 2025, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with the Rev. Christopher Droste officiating. Burial will take place in Saint Joseph Catholic Cemetery at later date.

Friends visited with the family from 9 a.m. until service time on Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 2701 West Franklin Street.
