Hoehn continues to shine all over the field for Michigan

University of Michigan and former North Posey standout Erin Hoehn is having a great junior season for the Wolverine softball team. Hoehn is one of the top three pitchers on the Michigan squad.
Last weekend, the Wolverines went to Lincoln to the Nebraska University campus to play the tenth ranked Cornhuskers for a three-game series. Michigan was swept by Nebraska in this outing. On Friday, Nebraska beat Michigan 5-2. The next two games were played last Saturday in a doubleheader. Nebraska won both games 8-4 and 5-2.
With three losses against Nebraska. Michigan’s season record dropped to nineteen wins and nine losses. The Wolverines have lost three straight games. On the road this season, Michigan has five wins and eight losses. No home games have been played, and Michigan is also 14-1 on neutral field against opponents.
Hoehn on the season has been involved more with the offensive side of the ball. Most of the games throughout this part of the year, Hoehn has pitched along with hitting in the batting order.
As of March 15, 2026, Hoehn has a 3.62 earned run average through eleven appearances with three wins and three losses. She has pitched 50.1 innings, allowing 49 hits, 26 runs, 26 earned runs, 17 walks and a team leading 55 strikeouts. Opponents against Hoehn on the pitcher’s mound have a .253 batting average.
At the plate, Hoehn has been hitting well through 19 games played for the Wolverines. On the season, Hoehn has a team leading .435 batting average. Also, Hoehn has been to bat 46 times with 20 hits, three doubles, three home runs, 16 runs batted in, three walks, thirty-two total bases and a slugging percentage of .696.
Some highlights on the season for Hoehn. February 6, 2025, against South Florida; she got her first win of the season pitching by throwing a complete game and striking out 11 batters. At the plate, Hoehn went three for four hitting with a double. Michigan won 4-0.
February 13, 2026, against Pittsburgh: Hoehn threw three innings, allowing six hits, one run, one walk with five strikeouts in a 3-1 victory.
February 15, 2026, against Lafayette: She went one for one hitting with a run batted in. Hoehn received her third win of the season pitching. On this appearance, Hoehn threw five innings, giving up one hit, no runs, two walks with ten strikeouts in a 9-0 win.
February 27, 2026, against Villanova: Hoehn went one for one hitting with a home run and three runs batted in.
March 4, 2026, against James Madison: During this 8-0 victory, Hoehn went one for two hitting with a home run along with two runs batted in. At the circle, Hoehn got the win throwing five innings, allowing four hits, no runs, no walks with three strikeouts.
March 11, 2026, at #11- Virginia Tech: In a 5-3 loss to the Hokies, Hoehn went one for three hitting with a home run and two runs batted in. She received no decision pitching. In the circle, Hoehn threw 5.2 innings, giving up one hit, no runs, no walks with five strikeouts.
March 14, 2026, at #10- Nebraska: During the second game of the doubleheader last Saturday, Hoehn went two for two hitting with a double and two runs batted in. Michigan lost to Nebraska 5-2.
