NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

At the regular City Council meeting held on February 3, 2026, “An Ordinance Pertaining to the Standard and Conditions of the Issuance of City of Mount Vernon, Indiana Road and Right-of-Way Work Permits and Service Charges” (the Ordinance) was introduced. Prior to the adoption of the Ordinance, the City Council of the City of Mount Vernon, Indiana (“City”) will hold a public hearing on Wednesday March 4, 2026 at 6:30 PM at the Mount Vernon City Hall, 520 Main Street, Mount Vernon, Indiana, 47620. The purpose of the hearing is to receive comments on the proposed ordinance. All property owners, residents, and others interested shall have an opportunity to be heard during the public hearing. A full copy of the ordinance is on file at the Office of the Clerk-Treasurer of the City of Mount Vernon, City Hall, 520 Main Street, Mount Vernon, Indiana.
