RFP FOR CMC SERVICES FOR MSD of Mount Vernon

Building renovations, expansion, and increased instructional and extra-curricular space.

SECTION 1: GENERAL INFORMATION

A. This REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (the “RFP”) from the Owner named below invites the submittal of a proposal {the “Proposal”) from persons or firms interested in providing construction management as Constructor services for the Project, as defined below and more fully described in this RFP. By submitting a Proposal the Offeror represents that it has carefully read the terms and conditions of this RFP and all attachments and addenda and agrees to be bound by them. This RFP is not an offer to enter into a contract of any kind with the Owner, but merely a solicitation of persons or firms interested in submitting a Proposal to the Owner for the Project (each person or firm, an “Offeror”).

C. Project Information:

1. Location: Mt. Vernon High School. 700 Harriett Street, Mt. Vernon, IN 47620 Hedges 716 Locust Street, Mt. Vernon, IN 47620 Mt. Vernon Junior High School 701 Tile Factory Road, Mt. Vernon, IN 47620

2. Budget: The estimated project budget for all work is not to exceed $15 million.

3. Scope of Work

a. New construction to increase instructional and extra-curricular space, building renovations and expansion.

b. The CMc shall provide pre-construction and construction services consistent with AIA Document A133, Standard Form of Agreement Between Owner and Construction Manager as Constructor (the “Construction Manager as Constructor Contract”) where the basis of payment is the Cost of the Work Plus a Fee.
