Cynthia Diamond


Cynthia “Cindy” Diamond, 61, of Evansville, passed away on Monday, July 27, 2026, at Deaconess Hospital Midtown Campus.


Cindy was born on July 23, 1965, in Evansville to the late Billy E. and Dorothy (Thomas) Diamond. Cindy worked in healthcare most of her life. Her career began at Deaconess Hospital where she worked as a patient care tech in the emergency room. She then worked at Covance Laboratories before retiring as a tech at the Evansville Surgical Center. Cindy enjoyed ice skating in her younger years; she was a wonderful cook who rarely saw the need for a recipe. She enjoyed lounging in the pool, traveling, visiting wineries, annual trips to Panama City Beach, watching Survivor, the ID Channel and Lifetime movies.


Surviving Cindy are her husband of almost twenty years, David Snyder; her son, Keith Bell; stepchildren, Bryan Snyder, Ashlee Mercer, and Evan Snyder; a sister, Annette (Lee) Leary, grandchildren, Colin, Abigail, and Andrew; a great granddaughter, Delilah; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Jean and Carl Voegel; niece, Lisa (Joe) Spencer, special friends, JoAnn Vinson and Amanda Snyder and her dog she loved very much, Ozzie.


In addition to her parents, Cindy was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Tom Snyder, with whom she shared a very special bond.


Friends visited with the family to celebrate Cindy’s life on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, from 4 until 8 p.m., at Pierre Funeral Home, 2601 West Franklin Street.
